In Berlin, it is expected that some cafes, shops, and restaurants don't accept cards. It would be helpful to have some cash with you.
Please bring warm clothes, an umbrella, and shoes suitable for rainy days.

Please remember, in case of buying a ticket at a station, you have to validate it before riding by train or bus.
Using an FFP2 mask in all public transport in Berlin is mandatory.
Each ticket is usable for buses, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and trams.
Usually, it should be enough to buy tickets for Berlin’s A and B areas unless you want to come from or go to the airport.

You can use free internet via BVG wifi in most stations.
